"The duration of two-and-a-half hours is determined by the law of karma: everything you give, you receive back tenfold. So if you dedicate one-tenth of each day to your higher consciousness, your whole day is covered by the returning energy."

Excerpt from The Aquarian Teacher Textbook 2020 - KRI International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Level One, Kundalini Research Institute.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Aquarian Sadhana, and why is it practiced in the early morning?

Aquarian Sadhana is a spiritual practice that includes Japji (a sacred prayer), Kundalini Yoga, and chanting mantras. It is practiced in the early morning hours, also known as the "ambrosial hours," because the mind is naturally more still, and the energy of the day is most conducive to meditation and spiritual connection.

Do I need prior experience with Kundalini Yoga or meditation to join?

No prior experience is necessary! However, please note that this is not a class but a community for practitioners. As such, explanations for each posture may not be as detailed as in a regular class. Always listen to your body and follow your inner guidance to adjust the practice as needed.

What should I bring or prepare for Aquarian Sadhana?

You’ll need a quiet space, a yoga mat or comfortable seating, and a device to join the session. Traditionally, wearing a head covering during Japji recitation is encouraged, though it’s entirely up to you. You might also want to have a blanket, water, and any props for comfort. There’s no need for special equipment—just come with an open heart.

Do I have to keep my camera on during the session?

Not at all! You’re welcome to keep your camera off if that feels more comfortable for you. The space is supportive and non-judgmental, allowing you to participate in a way that feels best for you.
